International University Centre (IUC) is a group of consultants for higher education overseas, career guidance and counselling. The admissions services will process more than 1800 applications from Sri Lanka and Maldives for courses at universities and colleges in the UK, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, NEW ZEALAND, USA, JAPAN, RUSSIA, LATVIA, FRANCE, ITALY and CYPRUS. In addition to applications for full time diplomas, higher diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate courses, applications for postgraduate teacher training, nursing and vocational training will also be offered by IUC.

Choosing a course at a university or college is a life-forming decision and, in accordance with its mission statement, IUC seeks to ensure that applicants are fully informed and the process of application is responsive, flexible and trouble-free.

The IUC website will be one of the most popular in Sri Lanka and Maldives and demonstrating its value in helping applicants to select the right course at the right university or college. Importantly, it provides comprehensive information on student finance, fees and bursaries, as well as on individual courses. A wide range of publications is also produced, aimed at helping students make informed choices about higher education, and guiding them and their parents through the application process. In addition to its application services, IUC organises conferences, higher education fairs and conventions across the Sri Lanka and Maldives. In order to understand, as clearly as possible, the company participates in major events and consultations affecting education and, where applicable, offers solutions from its areas of expertise. Research is also undertaken, as well as consultancy and advisory work for schools, colleges, careers services, professional bodies and employers, together with the provision of continuing professional development courses and materials tailored to meet the needs of individual institutions or subject areas.
